CASTOR OIL FOR HEALTH & YOUTHFUL SKIN

So most recently I have felt the extreme pressure surrounding me regarding youth. Inevitably we all get older and gravity helps drag us down into the ground some way or another. Our skin being drawn to the earth by the law of gravity resulting in wrinkles. When we finally leave our body to go beyond the body is left to become one with the earth. This container we are born into finds it's way closer and closer to the earth one way or another, but along the way we can do certain things to help reduce the process. 

Food is a huge factor in keeping your skin, hair and body healthy as I am sure many of you already know. A balanced diet including grains, seeds, nuts, vegetables and fruits are essential. Along with water - remember your body is made up of mostly water.
Along with these important things to consider we also have the outer care to appreciate. How do you look after your skin and hair on the outside? Although personally I believe the inner aspect to be of greater value as it will reflect outward, the outer is also important. 

Many will consider botox, fillers, chemically formulated creams and potions myself being a suspect of the cream form and curiously researching botox. Remember we are all human and through our life journey we live and learn.
On my curious journey for facial youth I have come across a new all natural item 'Castor Oil.'
The written and spoken benefits of this oil makes it seem like a skins miracle. It's known for its healing health properties, let's list a bunch here...

My bottle arrived today and I have already begun using it. This is going to be an experiment over 5 days on my skin. After the 5 days i will give you my outcome.
Everybody has their own unique skin so how things work on me may not work on you, but I shall share my outcome and then you may choose to purchase or not.

what i intend to do every day -
  Apply it to my face in the morning (My eyes and forehead).
It is a thick and glossy texture.
I am going to allow it to soak in and I will do the same this evening but all over my face and neck leaving it over night.

YOGA CHRISTMAS and SADNESS

Well its that beautiful time of year again.
This time of year is one of my personal favourites.
The senses are set alight with all the smells, colours, sounds and textures.

My yoga classes as well as home are filled with the beauty of candles making it cosy and festive.

The smell of pine from the tree with all its twinkly lights give my home the finishing touches. This year is my first year with a real christmas tree and I love it and wish I had done it years ago.

But this is not the case for all....

My heart and love goes to those who do not feel loved or have lost a loved one at this time of year.
It does make my heart sad as the memories we hold in the subconcious can be stimulated by the senses. This brings up emotions and reacuring triggers and sadness can all return year after year.

Yoga helps to banish our attachments along with things buried deep down inside. It can give some sense of stillness and peace and can open our hearts and allow us to be present.

What is Yoga?

Yoga means 'Union' of the body, mind and spirit. 

We find ourselves directing our energies to the outer world, perceiving through our senses, because we rely on our senses we tend to have partial and very often deceptive data. By learning to go deeper within, connecting with the sutler energies of awareness (remember that instinct feeling you have?It is there somewhere) we see that we are much more than just a shell form of bones, muscles, ligaments, senses and brain. 

Centuries ago the ancient techniques of yoga were not understood, but slowly over time through the research of scientists things are rapidly changing and we are uncovering more and more information. 

Yoga is seen to some to be just a physical exercise but the asanas themselves are just a mere speck of dust in the vastness of this profound science that is the unfolded of the human mind and spirits potential. The asanas just lead us towards what we are ultimately reaching for, this is the amazing connection with Atman - consciousness.   

  



 

Memories to cherish

Today is a new day, yesterday is an old day, tomorrow is a day yet to come.
In this moment of every new moment I cherish every new experience, every new person I meet to greet or share a special treat.

As time goes by....(the only creatures on earth to have concept of time) I leave prints behind. They are left in the space behind that is only but a memory of non reality which is gone.

What is reality? is it here is it there? Who can be sure we all see our reality differently. Reality is nothing which we officially know.

Take your time. Step with care. Share everywhere. And say a prayer.

Dream A Dream

Do dreams come true? 

 I believe they do....i sure do...
Over the last few years i have wanted my own yoga space. The time has finally arrived.
My floor is down and my launch is this weekend.
Dreams do come true. I am living breathing truth that they do!
Now its just for the others to come into fruition.
Simple steps to help you manifest

1. Write them down. 
2.Visualise the dreams as if you already have them in the present tense.
3. Believe you have already received them.
4. And then let it go (the hardest one of all)....

Then let it manifest and the universe will move and shift things to bring it to you.

BALANCE IS WHAT WE NEED

Sometimes we worry or hold on so much in our minds to something, someone a thing.... that out bodies follow suit... it become tight from holding on, figitty and unsettled just like we feel in our mind.

When you think it couldn't get any worse it just might but the tide will eventually change. Things will shift. The sun will appear behind the clouds. For how long I could not tell you but it will.
Remember your mind is just your mind it is not really who you are.
You are more than your mind and the fluctuations of thoughts. You come from a deeper place. You are divine. You are your own heaven on earth. Everything will be ok. Events and thoughts are only a fraction of you.

5 THINGS A YOGI DOES IN AUTUMN

These are the 5 things i do being a yogi in Autumn. You have to remember i am not anyone else i am myself and these can be different for any yogi :-)

1 Love putting yoga socks on, yoga leg warmers and just yogi sock in general....

 

2 Drinking tea, this for me can be normal organic tea, lemon teas, ginger and lemon teas... I don't really like Green Tea.  No matter how much its good for me my taste buds don't agree ;-)

3 Its a jumper fashion show, comfy, cashmere and just all together soft jumpers to wrap up in.

4 The aroma from the kitchen becomes quiet interesting - cooking casseroles is one of my favourite nom nom.

5 Candles, i being to burn candles in class and at home much more. The darker nights make this even more cosy.

Speak with truth, if your wrong admit your wrong - being wrong helps you grow. If your right, know your right - but don't throw someone's wrong doings in there face. Being gentle. We are all in different places and spaces in our life. You never know what someone else is gong through underneath the exterior.
